OP (Operation): Benjamin Bradu
- Operation of the cryogenic systems and infrastructure of the LHC accelerator & detectors
- Functional analysis follow-up and upgrade of the LHC accelerator & detectors cryogenic systems
- Follow-up and upgrade of the cryogenic process operation simulator
- Supervision of maintenance inspection tasks
- Consultancy & projects in refrigeration process for large cryogenic systems
The Cryogenic group operates and maintains all cryogenic infrastructure and cryoplants at CERN. In order to match technical
competencies for operation, maintenance and projects, the organisation in place is a mix of in-house and contracted teams for operation
and maintenance:
- CRG-OP operates LHC machine and detectors; OP website
- CRG-ML coordinates maintenance activities and operation of other accelerators, detectors and test facilities; ML website
- CRG-ME, CRG-IC, CRG-CI supports operation and maintenance in their respective field of competence; ME website, IC website, CL website
